Our asset-based fleet of modern Class A tractors and 53’ trailers, provide our drivers with the safest equipment to operate and the trailer capacity required to service our customers throughout the year. Our fleet utilizes an advanced TMS system, driver and vehicle telematics, GPS location-based tracking, and electronic signature capture, amongst other technologies.
ABEX provides truckload service throughout the Northeast, maintaining liquor permits in all New England states.
Our port drayage subsidiary, Bonney’s Express, LLC operates as one of the largest intermodal carriers servicing Conley Terminal in Boston as well as all CSX and NS rail ramps in Massachusetts. We provide service to both importers and exporters and are customs bonded and hazmat certified. Our fleet consists of a large pool of company owned chassis that are dedicated to our customers’ imported container needs.
Our Intermodal fleet utilizes an advanced TMS system, driver and chassis telematics, GPS location-based tracking, and electronic signature capture, amongst other technologies.
Bonney’s Express provides service throughout the New England and maintains liquor permits in all New England states.
As a Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PL) ABEX offers asset based warehousing, distribution, and inventory management to a variety of different customers in the beverage, food, and general dry goods industries. Our facilities are FDA registered and maintain the highest standards for food grade warehouses. No other 3PL in New England that can match the scope of services to the beverage industry as ABEX.
ABEX has invested substantially in our information systems and modern WMS infrastructure and provides full inventory management with web-based customer access, as well as EDI/API connectivity.
Our Readville facility, located within 10 miles of the Port of Boston, features direct rail service from the CSX. Our siding allows for daily placement of 22-24 railcars per day, five days per week. We are the premier CSX rail served facility in Eastern Massachusetts.
Our Stoughton facility, located within 20 miles of the Port of Boston, features over 100,000 square feet of secure, food grade dry warehousing, easily accessible to all major highways in the region.
Our customs bonded warehousing service is provided through our subsidiary, Boston Freight Terminal, LLC. Boston Freight Terminal (BFT) is a neutral U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility which has provided full international cargo handling services to the import and export community of New England since 1980. BFT is under contract with U.S. Customs and Border Protection as a fully bonded Container Freight Station (CFS), Central Examination Station (CES), Class 3 Bonded Warehouse, and U.S. Customs General Order (GO) Warehouse.
BFT is located just outside of Boston, where our Stoughton facility provides optimal accessibility to the region’s transportation network and immediate proximity to the region’s international trade community.

Since 1985, Specialized Carrier, Inc. has provided retail delivery in Western and Central Massachusetts from our Chicopee, MA cross dock facility for the wholesale beverage industry. We provide dedicated delivery routes to retailers and on-premise establishments on behalf of our wholesaler customers, regardless of seasonal volumes.
